Ceketinin cebinden küçük, gümüş bir saat çıkaran bir beyefendi kapağını açar. Saatin içinden gelen hafif tik tak sesi sabahın sessizliğine karışır. O küçük ses, zamanın akışını hatırlatan zarif bir ritim gibidir.
Köstekli saatler bir zamanlar yalnızca zamanı gösteren araçlar değildi. Onlar aynı zamanda bir statü sembolü, bir tasarım harikası ve mühendisliğin incelikli örneklerinden biriydi. Özellikle 19. yüzyıl ve 20. yüzyılın başlarında köstekli saatler, günlük hayatın önemli bir parçasıydı.

Um homem tira do bolso um pequeno relógio prateado, abre sua tampa e escuta o suave som de “tic tac”. Esse ritmo delicado mistura-se ao silêncio da manhã, marcando o fluxo constante do tempo.
Os relógios de bolso já foram muito mais do que simples instrumentos para medir o tempo. Eles representavam elegância, engenharia e status social. Durante o século XIX e início do século XX, esses relógios eram companheiros essenciais da vida cotidiana.
No coração desses relógios estava o mecanismo conhecido como mola principal ou zemberek. Quando o relógio era dado corda, essa mola espiral armazenava energia e lentamente a liberava, movimentando as engrenagens internas. Esse sistema permitia que o relógio continuasse funcionando com seu característico som de tic tac.
